February Sausage Recipe of the Month

Valentine’s Day is upon us and as much as we love our significant others, we just couldn’t present to you another romantic Valentine’s Day dinner meal. What we do want to do is share our love for sausage- another sausage recipe for you to try! This delicious display of mouth-watering goodness is made with Shiner Smokehouse Beer Brats, sautéed vegetables and corn. You may want to make double portions for a big crowd because this meal will be eaten fast!

  • 12 ounce package of Shiner Smokehouse Beer Brats
  • 16 ounce package of frozen corn
  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 medium purple onion, chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp Season-All
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Preparation Instructions

Sauté onions, peppers, and garlic in butter over medium-high heat. Add sausage and cook over medium heat 2-3 minutes. Add corn and cook for an additional 6-8 minutes, until corn is tender, stirring frequently. Season with paprika, Season-All, and black pepper.
